This gloriously soft beanie is one of a kind, and so soft you'll want to wear it all year round, even in the summer. The ribbed brim allows the beanie to sit snuggly against your head.

I hand crocheted it using blue yarn in two different shades of blue - the ribbed brim edge is a lighter blue and the main part of the hat is a darker blue. Both blues beautifully complement one another. The yarn I used is Aran/Worsted Medium and snuggly soft and warm.

The yarn I used is 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide and 7% wool. This combination means that the hat is very soft and has a bit of a fluffy look to it.

The hat measures 27cm/11in in width along the brim edge, so 54cm/22in in circumference around the brim edge and 24cm/9.5in in height.
