I hand knit this hat using two different shades of dk yarn. The main part of the hat is light purple and the edge is dark brown. To top it off there is a lovely bright red pom pom on top, beautifully finishing of the cupcake. Scattered around the purple part of the hat are six multi coloured three pronged beads. They are green, blue, yellow, orange, pink and purple. The yarn I used is one hundred per cent acrylic.

The hat measures 23cm/9in in width at the edge, so 46cm/18in in circumference and 17cm/7in in height, not including the pom pom. The pom pom adds 5cm/2in to the height.
